Today I was very upset…have been crying for whole day..
This morning when I reach office, I saw our Union committee member and HR outside the meeting room and the atmosphere is weird..i know something going on..
And I’m right..the big “R” day is here.
My boss, Helen, was chosen to leave..
She is the one who have interviewed me and give me the opportunity to start my career at DBS. When she come out of the meeting room and say to us
“Girls.. I’m here to say good bye”
I cannot control and cried out..
I give her a tight hug…
The retrenchment is so cruel…
Our VP have to escort her to her work station and pack her belonging and leave..
The HR got provide carton for them to pack their stuff and delivery to their door step.
End of the day, our SVP and VP ask everyone to go to meeting room and they announce to us there are 2 persons get affected and this exercise will stop here.
And everyone got the same reaction.
“ huh..2 persons?”
From what we know..is only Helen, and who is the other person?
They announce “Helen and Yee Kiat”
we were so shock...” why Yee Kiat??”
Last time DBS don’t have a processing office at Comtech, he was the one who setup the office and department and name it as “ TradeHub”. Trade Hub is so successful now. And he got to leave… it’s so unfair to him…
Yesterday I went to see doctor, my ear infection and cause me to have fever..
The doctor wants to give me MC for today but I don’t wan…
Because I promise Lay Lay not going to take for this two months.
And today I was so blur, maybe due to my fever..
I forget to bring my handphone.and I bring the wrong medicine to office.
Luckily my office has panadol…
